Dr. Muszynski is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency plus a chief residency year at Nationwide (Columbus) Children’s Hospital and his pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma. He founded the pediatric infectious disease division and research laboratories at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, Florida, and was Division Chief of pediatric Infectious Diseases from 1986-2004. He is currently the Regional Campus Dean, Professor of Clinical Sciences, and Associate Dean for Clinical Research at the Florida State University College of Medicine. In addition to heading the FSU Orlando Regional Campus, he is responsible for the college’s statewide translational clinical research program and community clinical research network and all of its affiliations, including the OneFlorida Clinical Research Consortium. He also remains a Residency Program Faculty member at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Dr. Muszynski has over 30 years of clinical teaching experience, including 12 years as director of the Pediatric Residency Training Program at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. He was Academic Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Orlando Health from 1995 to 2004. He was additionally Division Chief of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Nemours Children’s Clinic—Orlando from 1996-2004.
