Political Advocacy

Your OCMS is your voice in local and state-level politics. Our leadership is committed to advocating for policies that will enhance the practice of medicine and defend our members and their patients.

The OCMS has several key programs for our members. The OCMS PAC supports pro-medicine candidates for the Florida Legislature. The Legislative Committee meets with the county delegation prior to each legislative session to discuss priority issues of our profession and our community. And each year the OCMS will lead a delegation of local physicians to Tallahassee to lobby on our priority issues.

Central Florida is the heart of the medical industry in our state. Community Service and Outreach

Your OCMS continues to collaborate with key community organizations throughout Central Florida. Through our partners we continue to press for expanded access to care for our citizens and an environment conducive for the expansion of quality care and sustainable practice of medicine. Membership Application 

Please submit your Curriculum Vitae & Recent Photograph with your application.
After review and acceptance of your application by the OCMS Membership Chair, you will be recommended to the Board of Directors for acceptance.
You will receive a letter in the mail of your acceptance and an invoice for your dues.
You will be announced as a new member in our newsletter and listed in our online directory. 


Other Membership-Related Options

OrangePAC (Orange Political Action Committee): $50 – Submit payment with OCMS dues. OrangePAC is a voluntary contribution that supports political candidates and activities that are pro-medicine.
